All you ivory and porcelain lovelies with sympathise with me ,

when I say the choice for foundation for very pale people is very poor at times.

The shopping trips made that start off with such enthusiaism, that gradually trickles off into despair to the point where I’d wear anyhthing that didnt make me look like a tangerine.

Anyhoo I came aross a good buy the other day.

Lasting Perfection Foundation form Collection 2000

Its Shade of Ivory, is for a change…….fit for pale skin.

The appearance on your skin is smooth and creamy, and coverage is excellent.

The foundation is oil free, and I’ve noticed you don’t really get sticky hand syndrome ith this one.

A little bit goes a long way. Using one skirt does pretty well on my face and

I have a lot of face to cover :)

Colour 8/10

Coverage 7/10

Texture 7/10

This is a definate winner for me , all of you Porcelain Dolls give this a go :)

I’ve gone all out today as there’s more people than usual around this year.

But I’ve also had a filling but in today , bad times :(

Hope you all have a good ‘Shrove Tuesday’ by its proper title :)

Hola!

I’ve done another look, very simple but has a nice contrast to it, great for when you have very little time and wana make it look like you’ve spent more time on your apperance then you actually have.

1) Apply a light mint green shade into the inner corner of your eyes.over and underneath.

2) Apply dark ‘choclatey’ shade of brown to the outerlids and slightly outside the lid line.

3) next its time to apply black into the crease of the eyelid to create defintion, use a thin brush applicator to do this.

4) after that I applied black kohl liner to the outer edge, where the brown shadow is and underneath where the dark eyeshadow is.

P.S remember to blend everything together so the gradient effect is smooth.

I wasn’t too hot this day I admit.

5) I applied like a brown shell coulour to the top of the eyelid to act as a highlighter .

6) Then its time to apply mascara or kohl if u really want to but im goin au naturel…

Thanks for reading hope this was helpful :)

xoxo

Hey thought I would drop a few comments as I havent for a while.

The snow seems to have cleared up , thank god as I didn’t fancy being housebound for another few weeks due to snow, did anyone else get snowed in the begining of this year??

Three weeks I was, and when I did decide to brave the Ice with pram in tow, I fell into a wall and pulled my groin muscle for 3 days, the morale of this story….laziness pays off lol.

But er , yeah so I’m glad thats over.

Me and another blogger has discussed a post they did on fashion make up so I’m trying to practise some of the looks, I’m not doin too well ….but practise makes perfect so hopefully I’ll nail it :)

I’m catching up on the latest Episode of the new series of America’s Next Top Model, I feel behind with it but I love it soo much , so jumped back on the wagon lol.

I loove Laura she’s just so sweet wanna put her in my pocket lol, and possibly has the worlds best accent hehe.

XOXO

Hey all, I’ma do a Victoria Secret model look for ya.

victoria secret model

victoria secret model

This look is based on the look used by Victoria Secret Models , its pretty simple but effective :)

1) First apply a neutral eyeshadow all over the eyelid to act as a base. (closest to your natural skin colour)

SDC11729

2)Next apply black shimmer stick all over your lower eyelid to act as a base for the colour to latch on to & make the dark colour pop.(*quick tip to make it apply better rub in between hands to warm up & soften) *gawd that sounds dirty hehe ..anyhoo

SDC11730

3) After this is done grab a black kohl liner and line the lower lashline in a thinnish way to define the whole eyes in black.

SDC11738

4) Then apply black eyeshadow to the lower eyelid over the shimmer stick its ok to go slightly above the shimmer stick to blend the colour better.

I used Barry M Glitter Dust in Charcoal to give a highly pigmented look & definition.

SDC11732

5) Use the black eyeshadow on the lower lashline over the kohl eyeliner to give that really smoked out look but not harsh.

6) Afterwards its time to apply white eyeshadow above the black just under the browbone to create highligh & really make it pop!

SDC11740

7)Its time to add black kohl on the inside of the eyeline to create extra smoulder factor :)

but it is not neccesary as i know some people dont like wearing kohl on the waterline.

SDC11744

8)

Now its time to apply your mascara (in black) or falsies which ever you choose :)

&& to finish off the look a slick of nude lipgloss is good to keep lips simple & emphasise the eyes .

SDC11756

And here’s the finished look!!!!

Thanks for reading hope you liked it!
